Zin Zen Wine Bar and Bistro is a new wine bar in McKinney, TX that serves more than 80 different wines from all over the world and a variety of menu items in a unique, relaxing setting. We even have free Wi-Fi.

We have several comfortable living room sitting areas, a variety of tables, and a beautiful patio in which wine aficionados or novices alike are invited to enjoy a "taste", glass, or bottle of wine, as well as numerous delectable appetizers and desserts created by Chef Dave.

Our staff focuses on providing a fun and inviting atmosphere. Zin Zen is comfortable, but not stuffy, friendly, but not overpowering, and fun, but not overly loud. It's the perfect location for adults to enjoy a drink, unwind, and socialize without the smoky, bar-like atmosphere.

"Our vision is to provide a third place for people to come in and relax and visit with their family and friends in a living room setting," says owner Luetta Probst. "There's no hurry to turn the tables. Our guests are encouraged to stay and have a great time. We are the local wine bar where our excellent, friendly, knowledgeable staff gets to know our customers."

Zin Zen is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Noon to midnight on Saturday. 

Retail

While at Zin Zen, guests can shop in our retail section filled with a beautiful assortment of art, pottery, candles, glassware, and other beautiful home décor items from local and American artists. There's a great selection of Kim Norris pottery, Peggy Karr glassware, and a variety of gift cards. Gift certificates are also available.

Giving Back to the Community

Each month, we donate a portion of our profits to a different charity. The McKinney Repertory Theatre for July, the food bank for August. "Our goal is to have fun, meet our neighbors, and give back to the community which has already given us so much," says Luetta.
